All participants agreed that low-altitude economy is inherently an economy for peace, people’s livelihood and cooperation. In 2024, low-altitude economy was written into the government work report for the first time. In 2025, the National Development and Reform Commission established the Department of Low-Altitude Economy Development, and the Civil Aviation Administration of China set up the Department of Low-Altitude Security, continuously improving top-level design. In 2026, the newly revised Civil Aviation Law of the People’s Republic of China added a special chapter on development promotion, further opening up airspace management, and the industry entered a new stage of systematic advancement and large-scale implementation. Statistics show that the scale of China’s core low-altitude economy will exceed 1.3 trillion yuan in 2026, and is expected to reach 3.5 trillion yuan by 2035, evolving into a genuine trillion-yuan high-potential track.
